The FDNY reported a Monday morning fire at 317 East 83rd Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues.

Video posted on Citizen App shows officers responding to the scene, extending a ladder to the roof of the five-story building.

At 8:34am, the FDNY reported that the fire – which was present in a fourth floor apartment – was under control.
We’ve reached out to the press department of the FDNY and will provide an update when they get back to us.
