Anti-Semitic Graffiti Sprayed on 7 Cars on UES

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an unknown suspect for spreading a message of hate and vandalizing private property last month.

The incident took place on Wednesday, February 16 between 4:30am 5:30am, when an unidentified individual spray painted anti-Semitic graffiti on several privately owned parked vehicles. The suspect began on East 69th Street and 5th Avenue and continued for several blocks, ultimately vandalizing seven vehicles. No arrests have been made at this time; the incident is being investigated by the Hate Crimes Task Force.

The individual is described as an adult male with short dark hair, a thin build and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a green hooded snorkel jacket, a brown hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
