NYPD officials have issued an alert about a robbery which took place last month on the Upper East Side. Police are hoping someone from the general public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individuals.

According to the police report, the incident occurred on Friday, March 7 at about 2:48 p.m., when two unknown suspects approached a 58-year-old man sitting in his parked 2023 Cadillac Escalade near East 80th Street and Fifth Avenue.
“The unidentified individuals proceeded to enter the vehicle, assault the victim and forcefully removed him out of the car,” according to the report. “The unidentified individuals then fled the location in the vehicle, which was discovered unoccupied in the vicinity of East 114 Street and 1st Avenue.”

When prompted for more details, an NYPD spokesperson told East Side Feed that the suspect “wrapped his arms around the victim’s neck and kicked him out of the vehicle,” adding that “The individual also forcibly removed the victim’s car keys and cell phone.”
