Broad Daylight Groping on Upper East Side Bus

Police have issued an alert about a suspect wanted in connection with a forcible touching incident that took place on the UES last month. They’re hoping someone from the public will be able to help them identify and locate the wanted individual.

According to the police report, a 29-year-old woman was riding the M103 bus on Tuesday, August 27, at about 3:09 p.m. when an “unidentified individual approached from behind and grabbed her buttocks.” Following the incident, the suspect fled on foot eastbound on East 86th Street to parts unknown. The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.

Police describe the suspect as a “male with a dark complexion and slim build [who] was last seen wearing a knitted black hat with a black t-shirt with the words ‘Grand Cannon, get elevated,’ blue jeans, and black sneakers with white soles.”
