A Bronx man was arrested on robbery charges after attempting to steal items from an Upper East Side drug store this week.
The incident took place on Thursday at 2:42pm at the CVS on 84th and Lexington Ave.
Police say 35-year-old Henry Roca entered the store, began placing items in his back pack and proceeded to exit the location. When caught and approached by an individual in the store, Roca display a knife with a blade measuring approximately four inches and said, “I am going to kill you.”
According to the 19th Precinct, Roca is a “very well-known criminal” who was “also wanted on two warrants” at the time of his arrest. We’ve asked the NYPD about the nature of those warrants but they weren’t able to provide more info.
According to public court records, Roca’s next court appearance is April 18. He’s being represented by Claire Stottlemyer of The Legal Aid Society.
