A homeless man was found unresponsive near 72nd Street and East Drive on Wednesday.
The man, who according to the NY Post was 27, was found “near storage containers at Rumsey Playfield” where SummerStage performances take place. He was pronounced deceased at the scene at approximately 6:45 p.m.
There were no clear signs of foul play or trauma to the body. An investigation remains ongoing and the Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death.
