
30-year-old Quincy Burks has been arrested on numerous charges.
Police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection to the attempted rape which took place on the Upper East Side this past weekend.
Quincy Burks, a 30-year-old homeless man, was detained on Monday evening at about 6:45 p.m. within the confines of the 5th Precinct, which “serves the southeastern edge of Manhattan.”
Burks is being charged with Attempted Rape in the 1st Degree, Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree, Forcible Touching, and Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree.

The attack occurred on Saturday at about at 1:20 a.m. near 90th and East End Avenue. According to reports, Burks shoved a 19-year-old female victim to the ground and forcefully touched her genitals. The victim screamed, catching the attention of a nearby doorman who came to her aid. She was then transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
According to public court records, Burks was due in court at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
