Twelve units and sixty firefighters were called to the scene of a fire at 1081 Third Avenue (at 64th Street) at midnight on Saturday, May 7.

Upon the FDNY’s arrival to the address, they were able to quickly determine the flames were coming from inside Tony’s Di Napoli.
The fire was placed under control at 12:37am. No one was injured and damage was minimal, with the restaurant open to the public on Saturday.
Several videos of the emergency response were shared on Citizen.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
