An off-duty NYC Corrections officer was arrested on assault charges following an incident Tuesday on the Upper East Side.
Nicholas Osbourne, 38, was taken into custody at 5:52 p.m. on charges of Assault in the 3rd Degree, per an official police alert.
When prompted for more information, an NYPD official told East Side Feed that it was a “Domestic incident at a residence located in the confines of the 19th precinct,” adding that Osbourne “punched a 33-year-old female and pulled her hair, causing pain.”

According to public court records, Osbourne is not only facing Assault in the 3rd Degree, but six other charges–two additional assault charges, three harassment charges, and one charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child less than 17.

According to public address records, Osbourne is a resident of Brooklyn.
