NYPD officials have issued an alert about a robbery that took place on the Upper East Side at the end of January. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.
According to the police report, the incident occurred on Tuesday, January 28 at about 1:30 a.m. When a 21-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of 226 East 67th Street (between Second and Third avenues), he was reportedly approached by an unknown individual who demanded money while simulating a firearm.

The initial police report stated that the “unidentified suspect fled on foot with the victim’s property to parts unknown.” When we followed up with the NYPD for more specifics, they said “He took the victim’s sweater vest.”
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
