The NYPD has issued an alert about a male suspect wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident that occurred at an Upper East Side subway station this month.
Police say it happened on Monday, September 23 at about 7:10 a.m., when the man pictured in the surveillance photos below approached a 14-year-old female on a southbound 6 train approaching the 77th Street station.
The suspect “pressed his groin area onto the victim’s buttocks without consent,” police say, adding, “The unidentified individual also grabbed the victim’s buttocks.” He then exited the train and ran off in an unknown direction.
