
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline
NYPD officials have issued an alert about an assault which took place on the Upper East Side last month. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.

According to the police report, the incident happened on Monday, September 30 at about 11:45 a.m. in the vicinity of 65th and York Avenue, where a 67-year-old man was approached by the suspect. Following a verbal dispute, the alleged assailant “punched the victim in the face and kicked the victim in the left side of his back,” according to the report.
After the attack, the suspect ran west down 65th Street and the victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition.
It’s unclear what the initial dispute was about, but we’ve followed up with the NYPD for clarity. We’ve also inquired about the injuries sustained by the victim.
The suspect is described as a 15- to 17-year-old male with a medium complexion, standing 5’7″ and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red and white logo on the front and red logos on the right and left arms, black pants, black and white sneakers, a black backpack and a black mask.
