VIDEO: Unhinged Train Passenger Shoves Groin Into Woman’s Face

NYPD officials have issued an alert about a sexual abuse incident which took place earlier this week on the Upper East Side. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them identify and locate the wanted individual.

At about 12:10 p.m. on Monday, a 36-year-old female was sitting on a northbound 6 train approaching the East 86th Street station when an “unidentified individual pushed his groin area into her face,” according to the police report.

The suspect got off the train at 103rd Street and fled in an unknown direction.

Police have shared a video and photo of the suspect during the incident.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website or by sending a direct message to @NYPDTips on Twitter. All calls are strictly confidential.

Update: it’s unclear why, but on Saturday, NYPD officials sent out an alert stating that “Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the individual is no longer being sought.”
