Violent Robbery on Park Avenue–Suspects Steal Over $80,000 in Property

NYPD officials have issued an alert about a robbery that took place this past weekend on the Upper East Side. Police are hoping someone from the public can assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individuals.

According to the report, the incident occurred on Saturday, February 15 at about 12:54 a.m., when a 25-year-old male and 30-year-old female were walking towards their car parked near East 60th Street and Park Avenue. Police say two unknown suspects approached them and displayed a firearm. One of the suspects used the gun to strike the 25-year-old male in the face and then forcibly removed property–jewelry and a cell phone–worth approximately $84,800.

The suspects then fled the location on foot, traveling in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

Police have released surveillance imagery of the suspects.
