On June 22, 49 year old Elaine Grossman tried to take a 34 year old male victim’s rainbow-colored face mask, made anti-gay comments, threw her bag at him and spit on him. This incident occurred outside of 1735 Second Avenue, between 89th and 90th Streets (where Mexican restaurant Móle is located).

Police began seeking help from the public on June 30.
