On Thursday, April 15 at about 11:30am, a man approached a 34 year old Asian woman on a Q train at the East 96th Street station and hurled racial slurs at her while aggressively pointing his finger.

A report by Patch states that the woman captured the photos above and sent them to the authorities who released them.
This incident comes as the City continues to deal with an increase in verbal and physical attacks against people of Asian descent.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force put a tweet out asking for individuals with tips to contact them at 800-577-TIPS (8477).
