NYPD officials have issued alerts about three assaults on the Upper East Side last month, all targeting senior citizens in the East 60s. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individuals.

According to the first police report, a 65-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified individual on Tuesday, September 9 at about 8:26 a.m. at the southwest corner of 65th and Third Avenue. The suspect “proceeded to push the victim to the ground, causing her to hit her back and head against the pavement,” the report states.The suspect, described as “a male with a medium complexion” who was “last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt,” fled the location west on 65th Street. EMS responded and transported the victim to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition.
Another assault was reported on Sunday, September 21 at about 9:26 p.m., when an unknown suspect approached a 67-year-old male at 67th and Third Avenue and “punched [him] multiple times in the head and body” before fleeing on an electric scooter, traveling north on Third Avenue. The victim was not hospitalized, and the suspect is described “as a male with light complexion and an afro [who] was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and gray pants [along with a] neon-colored backpack.” Here’s a video of the suspect on his scooter.
According to a third report, a 92-year-old woman was punched in the face on an M15 bus near 68th Street and Second Avenue on Tuesday, September 23, at about 1:30 p.m. The suspect “engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim” before assaulting her, after which the victim got off the bus while the suspect remained onboard. The victim sustained bruising and swelling but refused medical attention at the scene.
