A brand-new boutique coffee shop has popped up on the UES, celebrating its grand opening along First Avenue this past weekend.
Keemoff Coffee officially opened at 1764 First Avenue (between East 91st and 92nd streets) on Saturday in the space that was formerly home to Yeti Spice Grill. The shop appears to be Keemoff Coffee’s first location, and the space was originally scheduled to open in January.

The new store offers your traditional coffee pours like americano, espresso, cappuccino, cold brew, flat white and more. It’s the specialty coffees that jump out, with offerings like cappu-orange, banana iced latte, and pistachio latte. Two espresso variations also stand out: raf coffee, a Russian-born variation of espresso marked by its thick texture and sweet flavor, and café bombón, a Spanish drink that incorporates sweetened condensed milk alongside traditional espresso. Here’s the menu.

Keemoff Coffee appears to also sell a nifty single-serve drip-coffee making bag, which you can see in this post from the brand on Facebook. The device allows you to make one cup of drip coffee in just a few minutes.
Keemoff also offers both whole bean and ground coffee via its website (when not password protected). Options include Crosshatch Blend (from Ethiopia and Guatemala), Nocturnal Dark Roast (from Sumatra), Feather in Cap Blend (Colombia and Ethiopia), Noam Blend (Guatemala and Sumatra), and more. Prices range from $9.49 for a six-ounce bag to $74.49 for a five-pound bag.
The storefront also has sweet treats like pastries and other baked goods. A recent Google review called the cheese danish “super good,” and also highlighted the “Eastern European style coffee” as “absolutely delicious.” They’ve got a perfect 5-star score, as of writing.
Keemoff is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and has hosted 1,000 visitors in just six days, according to an Instagram story it shared on March 25. Check out Keemoff Coffee’s website for more information.

Good luck to them, though at some point it must be zero sum game for these cafes on the UES.
