In case you felt the neighborhood wasn’t catering enough to people who crave expensive bean water, the Upper East Side is soon going to be the home of yet another new coffee shop.
Keemoff Coffee, set to open at a storefront at 1764 First Avenue (between 91st and 92nd streets)–previously home to Yeti Spice Grill and right next to CM Chicken–recently posted on its Instagram page that it will open sometime later this month. Its website still lists its originally anticipated opening date as December 2024, however.

A new coffee shop will be opening in the space previously occupied by Yeti Spice Grill

“Tired of complicated coffee gadgets? Say hello to drip coffee—perfectly brewed coffee, anytime, anywhere,” the company posted at the end of December on Facebook. “All you need is hot water and a cup. No machines, no fuss. Just pure coffee magic.”
Another post from the same day, December 29, shows the interior of the soon-to-open shop. It features a modern looking space bathed in beige and silver, along with cozy seating and coffee bar stools. Additionally, it appears that the shop will be selling a bit more than just drip coffee: the clip shows a dessert counter (with what appears to be a carrot cake in the display) as well as coffee devices used to make espresso drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos and more.
The opening of Keemoff marks the latest caffeinated addition to the neighborhood. At the beginning of December, popular chain Birch Coffee announced that it would be opening its third location in the area, slightly downtown at 1501 First Avenue (between 78th and 79th streets). Overall, it’s Birch’s fifteenth store in the city.
