The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an unknown male suspect wanted for committing an assault on the 6 train platform at 68th and Lexington Ave this weekend.
It took place on Saturday at about 3:47am. The suspect approached a 30-year-old female on the southbound platform, pushed her to the ground “and then proceeded to caress his genital area in his pants.”
Police say the man then fled the subway station to ‘parts unknown,’ while the female victim sustained minor injuries. She was able to walk to New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center for medical attention.
The NYPD has released the following surveillance footage of the suspect.
