Man Robbed by Group of EIGHT Suspects

Police have put out an alert about eight suspects wanted in connection to a robbery that took place on the Upper East Side last month. NYPD officials are hoping members of the public can help them identify and locate the wanted individuals.

According to the report, a 19-year-old male was surrounded by the large group of robbers at about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 in front of 14 East 60th Street (between Fifth and Madison avenues).

“The individuals displayed knives and a firearm and demanded his property,” police say, adding that one of the suspects punched him in the face before the group “forcibly removed his cellphone and backpack.”

The suspects then fled the location on foot, traveling westbound on 60th Street.

The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

“The sought individuals are described as males, all with light complexion,” the report states. Police also shared the surveillance photos below and provided descriptions of what each suspect was last seen wearing.

  • Individual #1 was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red baseball cap, black jeans and black sneakers.
  • Individual #2 was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, black sweatpants and black and white sneakers.
  • Individual #3 was last seen wearing a black ski mask, white t-shirt, black shorts and black sandals.
  • Individual #4 was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, eyeglasses, black jeans and black sneakers.
  • Individual #5 was last seen wearing a black ski mask, black and white hooded sweatshirt, white pants and white sneakers.
  • Individual #6 was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue baseball cap and gray jeans.
  • Individual #7 was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black baseball cap, ski mask, light colored shorts and white sneakers.
  • Individual #8 was last seen wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, black jeans and black and yellow sneakers.
