A 35-year-old man was stabbed on the Upper East Side on Tuesday night.
Police responded to a 911 call at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, reporting a man stabbed in front of 1310 Second Avenue, at the corner of East 69th Street, an NYPD spokesperson told East Side Feed. The address is home to Fresh Food Farm, a deli. The location falls within the 19th Precinct.
When officers arrived, they found the man with a stab wound to the abdomen. EMS took him to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was initially in critical condition. The latest update from the NYPD is that he is stable.
There’s no known motive, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the NYPD.
