
The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying an individual wanted in connection with a forcible touching incident that took place at a subway station on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police report, a 27-year-old woman was walking down a stairwell at about 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15 when an unidentified individual approached her from behind. The individual grabbed the victim’s buttocks and groin over her clothing, the report states.The incident happened at the Fifth Avenue and 59th Street subway station, according to the police report. The suspect then fled the station on foot towards Central Park South.
No injuries were reported. The incident occurred within the confines of the Midtown North Precinct and Transit District 1.
Police have released media depicting the individual.
