A 24-year-old rapper who goes by “Melo” got his luxury wheels busted up on Friday, according to NY Daily News.
When he pulled up to a Bank of America on 75th and Lexington Avenue at about 2:20pm, he got into an argument with a man on the sidewalk who punched him in the face before grabbing a large rock which he used to smash the windshield and front windows of Melo’s white Bentley.
According to the Daily News, Melo’s girlfriend was in the car when he stepped out. We’ve reached out to the NYPD to find out if she was still in the car at the time of the rock smashing.
Melo refused medical treatment and was not interested in participating in an investigation. No injuries were reported, but the vandal fled the scene and is currently at large.
At almost the same time on Friday, there was a Citizen App report of an armed robbery on 76th and Lexington Avenue, just a block away. We’ve reached out to the NYPD for more details on this as well.
