Democratic mayoral nominee Eric Adams will be appearing in Carl Schurz Park on Sunday at 2pm, alongside Julie Menin, the Democratic nominee for City Council District 5.
The two will be holding a joint “get out the vote” rally in anticipation of Election Day on Tuesday. November 2.

Adams is heavily favored over his Republican opponent Curtis Sliwa, who on Friday was hit by a taxi in Midtown before being taken to the Upper East Side’s Lenox Hill Hospital. Sliwa broke his arm but his spirits seem to be intact, saying “I’m like a cat that has nine lives” when he entered the hospital.
Menin is also expected to defeated her opponent, Republican Mark Foley.
