The 6,000 square foot space is located on the top floor of 1220 Park Avenue on the corner of East 95th Street, and it was actually first listed in 2018 for $27.5 million, more than double the contract price. According to the WSJ and Streeteasy, the property has been on and off the market since initially being listed about seven years ago.

The sellers were Craig and Deborah Cogut, according to the WSJ, who purchased the apartment for $13 million in 2006. Craig Cogut is the CEO of Pegasus Capital Advisors, a private equity firm.

The listing describes a 14-room triplex with 6 beds, 6.5 baths, 5 terraces, 8 balconies, and a whopping monthly maintenance bill of $16,641.

Scarlett Johansson has an estimated net worth of $165 million, which checks out given her top position on Forbes’ 2019 list of highest paid actresses, having earned $56 million that year alone (primarily for her role as Black Widow in Avengers: Endgame).

Colin Jost is best known for co-anchoring Saturday Night Live‘s “Weekend Update,” which he’s done since 2014. According to Parade, his estimated net worth is $10 million.

According to Streeteasy, 1220 Park Avenue was constructed in 1930 and designed by Rosario Candela, the architect behind a myriad of noteworthy buildings along Park and Fifth avenues (including 740 Park Avenue). The 17-story comes with a full-time doorman and gym.
