Apple TV Filming New Series on UES

A film set for upcoming Apple TV series “Suspicion” recently took place on the Upper East Side, Daily Mail reports, though an exact street location was not specified in the write-up.

While earlier film shoots reportedly took place in the UK, photographers spotted three of the series’ stars, Elizabeth Henstridge, Tom Rhys Harries and Elyes Gabelone, filming a scene in the neighborhood on Tuesday.

The main star of “Suspicion,” a thriller based on Israel’s “False Flag” series, is Uma Thurman. Additional cast members will include Georgina Campbell, Kunal Nayyar, Ross McCall and Ethan John Fernandes.

A March 2020 press release from Apple describes the upcoming show in more detail:

“Suspicion” is a high-paced thriller about the kidnapping of the son of a prominent American businesswoman, played by Uma Thurman. Twenty-one-year-old Leo’s abduction from a large, upmarket hotel in central New York is captured on video and goes viral. Swiftly, four British citizens staying at the hotel become the prime suspects. But are they guilty of anymore than being in the wrong place at the wrong time?
