The Frick officially reopens to the public on April 17, as we wrote here, unveiling revitalized historical spaces and brand-new amenities at its original home at 1 East 70th Street.

“Designed by Selldorf Architects, with executive architect Beyer Blinder Belle, the project was developed to honor the historic legacy and character of the Frick while addressing critical infrastructure and operational needs,” a press release states.
The first-floor galleries and 70th Street garden have been restored, new galleries have been added to the second floor, and a new 218-seat auditorium has been created, among other improvements.
