iPianoLab has opened up a new location at 353 East 77th Street (between First and Second avenues). This is the piano program’s second location in the neighborhood (the original is at 224 East 95th Street). “iPianoLab is the easiest, fastest, most fun way to learn how to play the piano or keyboard,” the company’s website states. Programs are available both onsite and in the privacy of your home; they’ve also brought their lessons to a variety of local schools. Here’s a brief Youtube video describing iPianoLab’s method.

Minnow has leased a 300 square foot space at 829 Madison Avenue (corner of 69th Street), @TradedNY reports. The South Carolina-based swimwear brand carries bathing suits, beachwear and a variety of accessories for men, women and children–all while “embracing clean lines, simple details & crisp seaside breezes,” according to the company’s Instagram profile. According to the company’s website, there’s only one location currently operating, which is in Charleston, SC.
Raon opened its doors at 207 East 59th Street (between Second and Third avenues) on March 4. The upscale Korean restaurant, which we last wrote about here, offers a ten-course chef’s tasting menu with a focus on kimchi and comes from the owners of Soogil in the East Village, husband-and-wife team Chef Soogil Lim and Sasook Youn. Reviews are all positive so far.
Cava will be opening on March 21 at 1535 Third Avenue (between 86th and 87th streets), according to this Google listing. The fast casual Mediterranean chain (which we last wrote about here) offers a variety of bowls and pitas, and has hundreds of locations across the country (including a handful in Manhattan).
