University Animal Hospital has officially moved to 1167 First Avenue (at East 64th Street), which was most recently home to Falk Surgical Supplies. The veterinary clinic had a longtime presence at 354 East 66th Street (between First and York avenues) and announced late last year they’d be moving. The clinic provides “urgent care, routine care, wellness exams, vaccines, spay/neuter, specialty procedures and surgeries, dental cleanings, and international health certificates.” Thanks to Ilya Kapovich for the tip.

Ana Luisa is opening at 1219 Third Avenue between 70th and 71st streets, the space formerly occupied by Serendipity Spa (h/t @uptown_girls_ues). The New York-founded direct-to-consumer label known for tarnish-proof, hypoallergenic pieces starting around $50, has built its reputation on accessible pricing and sustainable production practices. The brand, which launched online in 2018 before opening its first brick-and-mortar in SoHo, is Climate Neutral Certified and has been featured in Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.Box and Go is opening at 219 East 85th Street between Second and Third avenues (also h/t @uptown_girls_ues). “A balanced meal on [a] single plate” is what the forthcoming eatery’s Instagram bio says. We called the number in the IG bio but it’s been disconnected.
Dear Margo opened on March 23 at 961 Lexington Avenue (at 70th Street), which was home to Neil’s Coffee Shop before it closed in 2023. “We are Mediterranean grill with a focus on mezzes, salad & bowls, & skewers,” restaurant management tells us, adding that they’re only open for walk-ins at the moment. Owner Dean Pashalis named his new restaurant after his grandmother, according to the New York Times, which gave the new eatery the headline spot in its “Off The Menu” column.
A new Vuori location is opening in early April at 1151 Third Avenue at 67th Street, which was previously occupied by Vineyard Vines (h/t @uesthings). Vuori, a popular athleisure brand, opened another UES location at 1153 Madison Avenue back in 2023.
Chococo–”an award-winning British chocolatier known for crafting chocolates using premium ingredients and bold flavour combinations”–is opening soon at 1293 Third Avenue (between 74th and 75th streets). The chocolatier is also preparing to open a location at 500 Madison Avenue (at 52nd Street).
