Coming Soon: dntl bar, Reinstein Ross, Ever/Body

Brace yourselves, folks, “the people’s dentist” is getting ready to open on the UES. dntl bar — which bills itself as a “walk-in dental office” — will open Monday at 1187 Third Avenue at 69th Street, the brand has announced on Instagram. “We’re revolutionizing dental care to put you at the very center – and to bring affordable, accessible care to more people than ever before,” the brushing biz boasts on its website. Business Insider wrote about the disruptive dental brand in 2019, noting unexpected amenities like “TVs, blankets, and massage exam chairs.” A January 2020 New York Post write-up compares dntl bar with Tend, which opened an Upper East Side location last year, labeling both as “Instagram-friendly dentist offices.” dntl bar was founded in 2019 and can also be found in Union Square, Chelsea and the Financial District. Upscale jewelry brand Reinstein Ross is expected to open a flagship store at 21 East 67th Street this spring — expanding its UES footprint beyond its shop at 971 Madison Avenue (at 76th Street). “A touchstone of creativity and craftsmanship for artisanal fine jewelry,” reads Reinstein’s website, where you can scroll through its line of fine products with eye-popping prices. If searching by price from low-to-high, you’ll first see a variety of earrings and pendants for $395. If searching from high-to-low, your eyes will be introduced to the brand with a $58,000 “Opal Necklace with Mixed Opals set in 20K Peach Gold,” followed by $48,000 “Aphrodite Dangle Earrings with White Diamonds set in 20K Yellow Gold,” followed by a $39,000 “Meadow Rivière Diamond Necklace set in 20K Peach Gold.” And we’re sure there’s some stuff in the middle.
